Job summary

RTX in Aguadilla seeks an Engineer I in Engine Design and Systems Integration (PSA) to perform analytical simulations and support propulsion system tasks. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Eng, US citizenship, and will involve hybrid onsite/offsite work with up to 10% travel.

The incumbent will compare data with models, support engine testing data reduction, and assist in system integration efforts within EDSI, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Knowledge in Thermodynamics and Fluids Mechanics.
• U.S. Citizen — U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform low to medium complexity analytical simulations and performance studies.
• Perform low to medium complexity steady state and transient performance comparisons.
• Create engine trending packages to monitor engine health.
• Revise test procedures and instrumentations.
• Support design integration activities.
• Travel up to 10%.
