Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking a Coordinator, Provider Scheduling to support daily operations of the department. You will review schedules for accuracy, assign staff, and address staffing gaps to ensure 24/7 coverage with Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians, and Locums.

You will collaborate with division leadership and related departments to maintain staffing plans, run scheduling reports, and optimize the scheduling software to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years' experience with scheduling in a complex Healthcare setting highly desirable.
• 2 years' experience with customer service relevant to working with physicians and APPs desirable.
• Experience using scheduling software such as QGenda or AMION.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, monthly, annual staffing schedules of providers within assigned department(s).
• Resolve staffing gaps with leadership assistance.
• Maintain accurate assignments in the schedule systems database(s).
• Assist with calendar management of employed provider team as needed by department.
• Meet with providers, manager and site lead to discuss scheduling needs and issues.
• Coordinate orientation of new providers with North Memorial Provider Services and leadership as needed by department.
