Job summary

Mission Healthcare, a leading home health and hospice provider, seeks a scheduling coordinator to manage weekly clinician schedules, maintain master schedules, and ensure accurate data entry and patient communications. The role supports efficiency across office operations in a healthcare setting.

You will interact with clinicians, patients, and staff to align schedules, track visits, and handle documentation, while providing exceptional administrative support in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and a minimum of 1 year scheduling experience.
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Microsoft Excel.
• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience.
• Ability to adapt and multitask.
• Excellent communication and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Obtains schedules from clinicians on a weekly basis.
• Maintains a master schedule and confirms all assignments.
• Enters patient frequency and duration data into the database.
• Coordinates employees' schedules to maintain productivity.
• Coordinates caseloads with clinicians for patient visits.
• Communicates with patients regarding visit timing.
• Tracks lab results and faxes information to clinicians and MD/infusion teams.
• Faxes and emails patient information to clinicians.
• Converts admits/discharges and supports other office duties.
