Job summary

Mending is seeking a Provider Operations Associate to serve as the operational backbone of the DPC supply team. You will oversee URAC compliance, credentialing workflows, onboarding providers, and resolving payment inquiries while maintaining data accuracy across the employer marketplace directory.

This role emphasizes initiative, efficiency, and hands‑on problem solving, with opportunities to leverage AI tools to streamline processes and improve provider experiences across the network.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in operations, project management/coordination, analytics, or related role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Highly organized with multi‑workstream management and deadline focus.
• Comfortable with data and pulling reports to surface insights (Excel/Sheets, SQL/Python).
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Documentation and URAC compliance ownership and audit readiness.
• High‑touch provider support: onboarding steps and resolve inquiries face‑to‑face or virtually.
• Provider onboarding and data hygiene: credentialing workflows, roster data entry, panel tracking.
• Payments support: assist with payment processing, fee reconciliations, and billing inquiries.
• Identify repetitive tasks and leverage AI tools to increase team efficiency.
