Job summary

Mending is seeking a Provider Operations Associate to serve as the operational backbone of our DPC supply team. You will manage onboarding, data hygiene, credentialing, and payment inquiries while maintaining URAC compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work across provider life cycles, solve complex operational challenges, and leverage AI tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and provider satisfaction. This role welcomes a proactive, self-starting candidate.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in operations, project management, analytics, or a related role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working with data and pulling reports to surface insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Documentation and operational process ownership: URAC compliance, regulatory docs, credentialing vendor management, and audit readiness.
• High-touch provider support: meet with practices to walkthrough onboarding, troubleshoot platform questions, and resolve inquiries.
• Provider onboarding and data hygiene: execute credentialing workflows, roster data entry, and panel capacity tracking.
• Payments support: collaborate with payments team on processing, reconciliations, and billing inquiries.
• Efficiency & AI-tooling: identify repetitive tasks and leverage AI to increase output.
