Job summary

AdventHealth Maitland in Florida seeks a Credentialing Coordinator to manage data collection, document input, and initial credentialing for new and existing providers. You will work with Risk, Medical Staff, and Managed Care to ensure timely completion across campuses.

The role requires strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and a patient-focused, collaborative mindset is essential.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collects data for Medical Staff, Malpractice, and Managed Care credentialing within 30 days of LOI.
• Stores and inputs provider documents into credentialing system and populates initial applications.
• Provides credentialing information and instructions to providers after LOI.
• Oversees Medical Staff Credentialing across multiple campuses.
• Provides regular reports on provider status to leaders and alerts management when timelines are missed.
• Works with Risk, Medical Staff, and Managed Care to ensure timely credentialing completion.
• Coordinates New Provider Orientation and Employee Experience trainings.
• HR processing including benefit enrollment, drug screenings, employment verification, and requests for marketing materials and EMR access.
• Ensures background checks and NPDB reports are conducted.
• Notifies departments of upcoming provider and new practice start dates.
• Coordinates collection/distribution of provider status-related forms.
• Manages recredentialing for all providers at multiple campuses (Medicaid/Medicare/TRICARE).
• Other duties as assigned
