Job summary

AdventHealth Maitland in Florida is seeking an Credentialing Coordinator to manage data collection for Medical Staff, Malpractice, and Managed Care within 30 days of LOI. You will store and input documents, populate applications and coordinate credentialing across multiple campuses, ensuring timely completion and regular reporting to leaders.

You will also support New Provider Orientation, HR processing, background checks, and recredentialing, collaborating with Risk and Managed Care teams.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
• Excellent customer service, time management, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze situations accurately and take action.
• Strong English reading, writing and speaking skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to collaborate with other teams.
• Flexibility to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Presentation skills preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate credentialing for Medical Staff, Malpractice, and Managed Care.
• Input provider documents into credentialing system and prepare initial applications.
• Provide credentialing information and instructions after LOI.
• Oversee credentialing across multiple campuses and report provider status.
• Alert leaders if timelines are at risk and coordinate new provider orientation.
• Handle HR processing including benefits, screenings, verifications, and marketing/EMR access.
• Conduct background checks and NPDB reports as required.
• Notify departments of start dates and changes; assist with recredentialing.
