Job summary

Bardavon is seeking a Provider Network Specialist to manage Single Referral Agreements (SRA) and drive timely access to care for injured workers. The role emphasizes rapid provider outreach, negotiation, and placement execution to convert providers into long-term in-network partners.

The successful candidate will balance high-volume referral management with strategic engagement, collaborating with adjusters, nurse case managers, clients, and internal teams to meet SLAs and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience in workers’ compensation, healthcare network operations, provider relations, or inside sales is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and drive outcomes in time-sensitive situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage assigned SRA cases from intake through scheduling, ensuring SLAs and client expectations.
• Conduct rapid, multi-channel provider outreach to secure participation and timely scheduling (target: within 48 hours).
• Identify and overcome barriers to placement, such as provider unresponsiveness and rate objections.
• Develop creative approaches to ensure successful placement while ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Provide timely, accurate updates to internal stakeholders on case status and risks (every 48 hours).
• Negotiate Single Rate Agreements in line with reimbursement guidelines and standards.
• Communicate the value of partnering with a third-party workers’ compensation network.
• Identify high-utilization SRA providers and support conversion to full network participation.
• Maintain persistent follow-up to drive provider responsiveness and agreement execution.
• Conduct targeted research to identify providers for network inclusion, focusing on coverage gaps and high-demand markets.
• Assist contracting by gathering required documentation and onboarding compliance.
• Support SRA-to-contract conversion initiatives with the contracting team.
• Accurately document all activities in Salesforce and internal systems.
• Maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy across systems.
• Manage a high-volume workload while prioritizing urgent cases and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Customer Solutions, Visit Management, and Provider Enrollment for seamless case handling.
