Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Provider Data Analyst in a hybrid role requiring in-office presence 1–2 days per week in the Richmond area. Alternate locations may be considered, subject to commuting distance and policy.

The role focuses on generating provider data reports, performing data analyses, and acting as a technical liaison between the provider database organization and other functions to ensure accurate data flow and timely responses to requests.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of data file/reporting experience using analytics and/or relational databases.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to move between projects.

Responsibilities

• Generates provider data reports and analyses to support internal client needs including network management, sales, account management, and other key functions.
• Performs provider data analysis and reporting in response to external requests from providers and/or regulatory agencies.
• Serves as a technical data expert and liaison between the provider database organization and other functional areas to support data requests and ensure uniform data and data flow.
• Acts as a liaison with the assigned analyst completing the report and the requesting department and/or provider, clarifying reports to meet client needs.
• Ensures the quality and accuracy of all reports.
• Perform provider data support, data/file analysis, network analysis, surveys, reporting (including creating and publishing), and other ad hoc data requests.
• May be responsible for enhancements and testing.
