Job summary

Elevance Health seeks a Business Information Developer Consultant to design and execute complex data mining analyses from our Richmond, VA location. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration 1–2 days weekly with the flexibility of virtual work to support productivity.

The ideal candidate reports to our Pulse Point location in Richmond, VA, and will develop and optimize data warehouse solutions while partnering with clinical program teams and analytics peers to translate business needs

Qualifications

• Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 4 years related experience.
• Experience in healthcare informatics, analytics, population health, or care management preferred.
• Strong SQL/SAS/Python/R and data modeling experience preferred.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud analytics tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business owners and analytics peers to translate business needs into requirements.
• Draft and refine requirements for clinical Identification and Stratification processes.
• Determine how decision support systems provide data for business decisions.
• Model information sources and data flows for analytics.
• Coordinate activities of a project team and monitor schedules/costs.
• Develop strategic report applications from the Data Warehouse.
• Maintain knowledge of data warehouse design, definitions, and data integrity.
• Develop and support complex data warehouse applications.
• Spend majority of time programming and delivering solutions.
• Conduct training on use of developed applications.
