Job summary

Elevance Health, a Fortune 25 health company, seeks a Provider Data Analyst to analyze, coordinate, and report on provider file data. The role supports internal client needs like network management, sales, and account management through provider data reports and analyses.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in a related field and at least 3 years of data/file reporting experience with analytics or relational databases.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 year of data file/reporting experience, and experience using analytics and/or relational databases; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Generates provider data reports and analyses to support internal client needs including network management, sales, account management, and other key functions.
• Performs provider data analysis and reporting in response to external request from providers and/or regulatory agencies.
• Serves as a technical data expert and liaison between the provider database organization, and other functional areas to support data requests and ensure uniform and consistent data and data flow.
• Acts as a liaison with the assigned analyst completing the report and the requesting department and/or provider, clarifies report to ensure that it meets the client's needs and helps to clarify additional required information or data needs.
• Ensures the quality and accuracy of all reports.
• Perform provider data support, data/file analysis, network analysis, surveys, reporting (including creating and publishing), and other ad hoc data requests.
• May be responsible for enhancements and testing.

Anticipated End Date: 2026-10-28 Position Title: Provider Data Analyst

Provider Data Analyst Location: Hybrid. This role requires associates be in the office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered. Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.

The Provider Data Analyst analyzes, researches, coordinates and reports on provider file data to support both internal and/or external request.

How you will make an impact

Location: Hybrid. Salary range for this specific position is $67,600 to $121,680. The salary offered for this specific position is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company. The salary range is the range Elevance Health in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. Even within the range, the actual compensation will vary depending on the above factors as well as market/business considerations. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable under the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans.
