Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Provider Data Analyst in Virginia for a hybrid role requiring in-office presence 1-2 days per week. The position supports data-driven decision making by generating provider data reports and analyses for network management, sales, and accounts.

The role acts as a technical data expert, coordinating with the provider database organization and other departments to ensure accurate data flow, while handling ad hoc requests and ensuring data quality across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 year of data file/reporting experience, and experience using analytics and/or relational databases.
• Ability to move between projects and multitask across initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with different levels of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Generates provider data reports and analyses to support internal client needs including network management, sales, account management, and other key functions.
• Performs provider data analysis and reporting in response to external request from providers and/or regulatory agencies.
• Serves as a technical data expert and liaison between the provider database organization and other functional areas to support data requests and ensure uniform and consistent data and data flow.
• Act as a liaison with the assigned analyst completing the report and the requesting department and/or provider, clarifies report to ensure that it meets the client's needs and helps to clarify additional required information or data needs.
• Ensures the quality and accuracy of all reports.
• Perform provider data support, data/file analysis, network analysis, surveys, reporting (including creating and publishing), and other ad hoc data requests.
• May be responsible for enhancements and testing.

Provider Data Analyst

Location: Hybrid1: This role requires associates be in the office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The Provider Data Analyst analyzes, researches, coordinates and reports on provider file data to support both internal and/or external request.

How you will make an impact:

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 year of data file/reporting experience, and experience using analytics and/or relational databases; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• Highly experienced in Provider Data STRONGLY PREFERRED
• Great communication skills with different levels

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $67,600 to $121,680
