Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking an onboarding coordination professional to ensure a smooth experience for new providers by tracking required documents and coordinating with the Central Verification Office, Medical Staff Services and Human Resources.

The role involves proactive communication, confidentiality, and independent work to support timely credentialing, privileging and enrollment for employed and independent practitioners.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in credentialing/onboarding or related field.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates credentialing, privileging and provider enrollment for new and independent practitioners.
• Provides exceptional onboarding experience during credentialing process.
• Collects information and initiates notification to stakeholders.
• Explains credentialing expectations and eligibility requirements to practitioners.
• Reviews submissions for completeness and escalates gaps.
• Acts as primary liaison among CVO, HR, Medical Staff Services, Revenue Cycle and agencies.
• Monitors progress of credentialing per policy and escalates to meet start dates.
• Maintains confidentiality of provider information.
