Job summary

Benefis Health System in Montana seeks a Compensation Analyst for provider compensation. You will manage data entry, maintain compensation records, and benchmark compensation using market salary surveys.

You will support the Physician Compensation Committee, generate related reports, and collaborate with payroll to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree (or combination of education and experience) in Finance or healthcare preferred.
• Experience in physician compensation analytics and physician compensation arrangements preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; previous analytics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compensation analysis for provider compensation, including data entry and maintaining provider compensation records and files.
• Collect and analyze market data from salary surveys to benchmark provider compensation.
• Assist in Physician Compensation Committee preparation and create reports for provider compensation tasks.
• Collaborate with payroll to ensure provider payroll data integrity and compliance with compensation policies.
• Answer general provider compensation questions and maintain confidentiality of provider data.

Responsible for providing compensation analysis for provider comp, including tasks like data entry, maintaining provider compensation records, files and databases, collection and analyzing market data from salary surveys to benchmark provider compensation, assisting in Physician Compensation Committee preparation, creating and generating reports for provider compensation related tasks, collaborating with payroll to ensure provider payroll data integrity, and ensuring compliance with company provider compensation policies. Collaborates with provider contracting team on provider compensation related issues and inquiries, and answers general provider compensation related questions. Maintains strict confidentiality of provider data and compensation information.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:

• Associate’s/ bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience in Finance or healthcare preferred
