Job summary

Benefis Health System in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Compensation Analyst to manage provider compensation analytics, data entry, and reporting.

You will collaborate with payroll and the contracting team, maintain confidential records, and prepare materials for the Physician Compensation Committee while ensuring policy compliance.

Strong Excel skills and experience in market data analysis are preferred; associate or bachelor’s degree in Finance or healthcare is favored.

Responsible for providing compensation analysis for provider comp, including tasks like data entry, maintaining provider compensation records, files and databases, collection and analyzing market data from salary surveys to benchmark provider compensation, assisting in Physician Compensation Committee preparation, creating and generating reports for provider compensation related tasks, collaborating with payroll to ensure provider payroll data integrity, and ensuring compliance with company provider compensation policies. Collaborates with provider contracting team on provider compensation related issues and inquiries, and answers general provider compensation related questions. Maintains strict confidentiality of provider data and compensation information.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:

• Associate’s/ bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience in Finance or healthcare preferred
• Experience in physician compensation analytics and physician compensation arrangements preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; previous experience in analytics preferred
