Job summary

Benefis Hospitals, Inc. is seeking an individual to perform customer service functions in a medical office setting. The role requires handling deadlines, staying accurate under pressure, and adapting to changing situations while following all policies.

Minimum two years of medical office experience and a medical terminology course are preferred, with completion of required education packets within specified timelines. Starting wage is $18.64/hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred.
• Completion of medical terminology course within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of Clarivate Patient Access II Education Packet within 3 months of hire.

Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health system organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years medical office experience preferred.
• Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred.
• Completion of medical terminology course required within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Completion of Clarivate Patient Access II Education Packet within 3 months of hire/transfer.
