Job summary

Callaway Golf Company is seeking an Associate Prototype Technician to assist in machining, fabrication, assembly and inspection of prototype components for product development. You will work under guidance to learn CNC machining processes, fixture setup, and documentation in a fast-paced R&D shop.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma with 0–2 years' experience in machining or related field, and are eager to learn new processes in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Associate degree or technical certification in machining/manufacturing is desirable.
• 0–2 years in a machine shop or prototype environment desired.

Responsibilities

• Machining, fabrication, assembly, and finishing of prototype components per drawings.
• Support CNC mills, lathes, grinders and basic operations under supervision.
• Prepare materials, tooling, and fixtures for prototype manufacturing.
• Perform dimensional inspections using precision measurement tools to verify specs.
• Assist with fitting, polishing, deburring, and light assembly tasks.
