Acushnet Company in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a CNC/CAM Project Engineer to design and prototype high-performance golf components. You will apply NX CAD modeling and 5-axis CNC machining to develop prototype heads, fixtures, and parts, while collaborating with R&D to optimize manufacturability and production readiness.

The role requires 3+ years in CAD/CAM programming, CNC machining, and welding, plus a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years CAD/CAM programming experience, preferably NX or equivalent.
• 3+ years CNC machining experience including mills and lathes.
• 3+ years welding experience supporting prototype fabrication.

Mansioni

• Design prototypes with NX CAD, programming and manufacturing support for next-gen clubs.
• Develop machining strategies and determine cutting parameters for metal alloys.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability and create fixturing solutions.
