Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Machining Technician II to support rapid prototyping and expedited manufacturing. The role involves setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce prototype and low-volume components, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to meet aggressive timelines.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, CNC experience, and the ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.

Qualifications

• CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or prototype environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and related machining equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications.
• Perform machining, deburring, inspection, and documentation activities.
• Troubleshoot basic machining and setup issues.
• Support prototype and expedited production builds to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers on manufacturability and process improvements.
• Maintain equipment, tooling, and work areas in accordance with safety, 5S, and TEOA standards.
