Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking an Assembly/Build Technician 2 on a contract basis to support prototype semiconductor device assembly and testing.

The role involves fabricating, modifying, and assembling prototype systems using SMT machines, reflow ovens, die attach, wire bond, and related equipment. You will work closely with engineering, ensure ESD protocols are followed, and participate in daily stand-ups to share progress and issues.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Ability to perform manual soldering under a microscope with small components.
• Experience with semiconductor assembly tools (SMT, Die attach, Wire Bond, Mold, Laser mark, singulation, strip grinder, sputter).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Build prototype semiconductor parts using assembly equipment.
• Participate in daily updates and information exchange during meetings.
• Ensure ESD protocols are met and monitored.
