Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is recruiting a hands-on technician for the Newbury Park Equipment Engineering Team supporting the Fab and Final Process areas.

You will dismantle, repair, and calibrate semiconductor manufacturing equipment, performing preventive maintenance and modifications as directed. The role requires an associate degree in Electronics Technology or a HS diploma with related experience, 6+ years in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work overnight.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or HS diploma with relevant experience.
• At least 6 years in a production or fast-paced environment.
• Experience with common hand tools and electronic instruments.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and pass respiratory protection medical surveillance.
• Must work overnight/compressed shift and be self-starting.

Responsibilities

• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment per schematics, blueprints, drawings, and manuals.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Follows processes and policies to solve production equipment issues.
• Troubleshoots electro-mechanical systems to identify problems.
• Performs setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance; may modify equipment as directed.
• Participates as a contributor to the Emergency Response Team.
