Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electronics training preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on PCB rework/assembly in manufacturing.
• 5+ years with BGA rework and advanced soldering techniques.
• Experience with SMT and through-hole soldering.
• Experience using X-ray inspection systems and CAD tools.
• Ability to read schematics/drawings and work on-site in North Reading, MA.

Responsibilities

• Inspect PCBA hardware to IPC standards and perform rework as needed.
• Replace components, rework, and repair boards using advanced soldering.
• Operate SMT rework equipment for complex component replacement, including BGA.
• Use soldering irons and hot-air tools for 0201 and smaller devices.
• Conduct visual and X-ray inspection to verify solder quality.
• Maintain documentation and support ISO 9001/14001 quality systems.
• Support NPI in Teradyne instruments and related hardware assembly.
