Milwaukee Tool is seeking a highly skilled prototype machinist to create components from CAD models and sketches. You will program and post to CNC equipment, inspect parts with precision tools, and collaborate with the New Product Development Team to meet tight schedules and quality standards.

A strong background in 5-axis/multi-axis machining and CAD/CAM software is required, with extensive hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent with apprenticeship and 10+ years of applied experience.
• Deep understanding of machining principles and datum planes.
• Extensive experience with CAD/CAM software for complex models.

Responsabilités

• Create prototype components from CAD models and sketches.
• Program and post to CNC equipment for complex models and dies.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring devices and maintain schedules.
• Suggest design changes and material allowances as needed.
• Communicate with New Product Development Team to align on specs.
