Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete production process from initial print interpretation to final part inspection.
• Develop and refine CNC programs using G-code or CAM software to optimize cycle times and part quality.
• Execute complex machine setups on mills and lathes, ensuring precision and efficiency.
• Maximize throughput by managing multiple machines simultaneously to keep production moving.
• Design and fabricate custom tooling, fixtures, and dies to support unique manufacturing requirements.
• Perform rigorous quality verification using advanced metrology tools to ensure adherence to tight tolerances.
• Proactively troubleshoot machining challenges, including surface finish, tool wear, and dimensional accuracy.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing technical knowledge and best practices in machining.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in CNC machining or tool and die making.
• Advanced proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T application.
• Strong technical background in G-code programming and CNC machine operation.
• Proven track record of maintaining tolerances of +/- 0.001 or tighter.
• Demonstrated ability to operate multiple CNC machines concurrently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Mastercam or similar CAM software platforms.
• Technical familiarity with wire EDM or precision grinding processes.
• Hands-on experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Hurco control systems.
• Strong commitment to shop floor safety and continuous improvement.
