  • Collaborate with engineering to improve manufacturability and drive process improvements.
  • Perform in-process inspections using advanced metrology tools to ensure quality.
  • Document setups and methodologies to streamline prototype to production transitions.

As a Precision R&D Machinist, you will serve as a critical bridge between design and production, utilizing your expertise in CNC programming and manual machining to bring innovative components to life for high-stakes industries.

Responsibilities
  • Translate intricate engineering blueprints and 3D models into actionable machining strategies for unique, low-volume parts.
  • Execute the full lifecycle of component creation, from selecting optimal tooling and workholding to final inspection.
  • Program, edit, and optimize CNC code to ensure maximum efficiency and dimensional accuracy on every project.
  • Design custom fixturing solutions to tackle challenging geometries and unconventional material requirements.
  • Collaborate directly with engineering teams to provide feedback on manufacturability and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Maintain rigorous quality standards by performing detailed in-process inspections using advanced metrology tools.
  • Document successful setups and methodologies to streamline the transition from prototype development to full-scale production.
