Mach Industries in Huntington Beach is seeking a highly skilled Prototype Machinist to turn early-stage designs into functional prototypes. You will own the complete machining process from setup to inspection, working with engineers to accelerate development in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

The role requires 4+ years of CNC experience, 3‑5 axis capability, GD&T proficiency, and the ability to read CAD drawings.

Qualifications

• 4+ years CNC machining experience including setup and operation of multi‑axis milling/turning.
• Prototype, R&D or low‑volume production experience in a fast‑paced setting.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.

Responsibilities

• Machine complex prototype and low‑volume components using CNC mills/turns.
• Interpret CAD drawings and GD&T to plan machining strategies.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment with minimal supervision.
• Program, edit and optimize CNC programs and toolpaths for rapid iteration.
• Perform first‑article and in‑process inspections with precision metrology.
