Job summary
Corewell Health Proton Therapy Center in Royal Oak, MI seeks a Staff Proton Physicist to join the Radiation Oncology team. You will perform and review radiotherapy planning, quality assurance, and clinical service for proton therapy patients under senior supervision.
The role includes research/development and education/training, in collaboration with Medical Physicist leadership and clinical staff. Requires CAMPEP residency or ABR board credentials and proton therapy experience.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in physics, medical physics or related field.
- Doctorate in Medical Physics or demonstrated equivalency with AMP/NRC authorization.
- CAMPEP-approved Medical Physics residency in Radiation Oncology or 1–2 years related experience.
- ABR CRT Medical Physics or CRT Therapeutic Medical Physics at hire.
- Experience in Proton Therapy clinical service and research is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Clinical service for proton therapy patients and related planning/QA.
- Research/development and education/training under supervision.
- Collaborate with Physics leadership and clinical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
