Job summary

Hitachi Particle Engineering and Services, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Service Technician I to support the Proton Beam Therapy (PBT) system at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance and work with a cross-functional team to ensure system uptime and safety. The role requires troubleshooting, documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards while providing reliable service and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ years as a technician or field service engineer.
• Experience with PBT system or medical device environment preferred.
• Ability to read engineering schematics and use test instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on the PBT system.
• Respond to service calls promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Document timecards and service reports accurately.
• Follow safety protocols including HIPAA, EH&S, OSHA as required.
