Job summary

Hitachi Particle Engineering and Services, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Service Technician I to service and maintain Proton Beam Therapy (PBT) systems at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory programs. The role requires 1 year of technical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate's degree (A.S.) or higher.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Technician or Field Service Engineer.
• Experience with PBT system and/or medical device environment preferred.
• Ability to read engineering documents (schematics, wiring, piping diagrams).
• Proficiency with electrical test and measurement instruments (Oscilloscope, Multimeter).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and positively affect operational performance of PBT system and patient experience.
• Respond to service calls promptly.
• Interface with customers to maximize satisfaction.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and complete related paperwork.
• Follow safety, regulatory, and internal procedures (HIPAA, EH&S, FDA, OSHA).
