Job summary

IBA Worldwide seeks a hands-on Engineer to install, operate, and maintain our Proton Therapy System (PTS). You will troubleshoot a mix of electrical, mechanical, and software issues and perform routine maintenance to ensure clinical operations run smoothly.

Based in Oklahoma City, you will collaborate with clinical staff and engineering teams, mentor field engineers, and contribute to system upgrades while maintaining high professional standards and safety.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Experience in electronics/electrical troubleshooting and mechanical system design.
• Ability to work autonomously on well-defined tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate and maintain the Proton Therapy System (PTS).
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, software and integrated system issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, system upgrades and scheduled inspections.
• Support hardware and software testing while minimizing disruption to clinical operations.
• Partner with Engineering and R&D to improve equipment reliability and usability.
• Mentor new team members and field engineers; train customers on system operation.
