Job summary

IBA Proton Therapy seeks a hands-on engineer to install, operate and maintain our Proton Therapy System (PTS). You will troubleshoot complex issues, perform routine maintenance, and support hardware/software testing while ensuring clinical operations run smoothly.

You will mentor teammates, work with engineering and R&D to improve reliability, and train clinicians on system operation in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Experience troubleshooting electronics/electrical systems.
• Experience operating and maintaining large systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate and maintain the Proton Therapy System (PTS).
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, software, and integrated system issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and system upgrades.
• Support hardware and software testing with minimal disruption to clinical operations.
• Train customers on safe, effective operation of the system.
• Mentor new team members and foster continuous learning.
