Job summary

IBA in Knoxville is seeking a hands-on Engineer to install, operate and maintain our cutting‑edge Proton Therapy System. You’ll troubleshoot issues, perform routine and corrective maintenance, support hardware/software testing, and contribute to system upgrades and inspections to directly support clinical operations.

Collaborating with Engineering and R&D, you’ll identify reliability improvements, mentor new teammates, and train customers on safe, effective operation of the Proton Therapy System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Extensive hands-on experience with electronics/electrical troubleshooting and mechanical design.
• Experience operating and maintaining large, complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronics, mechanical, and software issues on the Proton Therapy System.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspects and upgrades.
• Mentor new team members and train customers on safe operation.
