Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD required in analytical chemistry, biotechnology, or related field.
• Experience with mass spectrometry-based proteomics is essential.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation and analysis.
• Operate Orbitrap mass spectrometers and micro/nanoflow chromatographers.
• Perform data analysis and reporting for proteomics and/or metabolomic experiments.
• Contribute to development of novel methods.
• Implement and test new proteomic and metabolomic techniques.
• Assist with instrument maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Maintain and update written operative procedures and experimental protocols.
• Help maintaining commonly used equipment and resolve minor equipment problems.
