Job summary

The role involves sample processing, proteomic method development, and instrument maintenance, with collaboration across internal and external partners. A PhD and high-resolution LC/MS experience are required.

Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field is required.
• Demonstrated experience with mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
• Experience with high-resolution LC/MS is very important.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation and analysis;
• Operate Orbitrap mass spectrometers and micro/nanoflow chromatographers;
• Perform data analysis and reporting for proteomics and/or metabolomic experiments;
• Contribute to development of novel methods;
• Implement and test new proteomic and metabolomic techniques;
• Assist with instrument maintenance and quality control procedures;
• Maintain and update written operative procedures and experimental protocols;
• Help maintaining commonly used equipment and resolve minor equipment problems.
