Job summary

Antares Therapeutics seeks a Sr. Scientist II/Principal Scientist to join its Chemical Biology team. You will drive chemoproteomic target discovery, hit identification, and SAR advancement using mass spectrometry-based proteomics in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

The role requires a PhD with 8+ years in industry/postdoc, expert MS/LC instrumentation skills, and ability to lead cross-functional programs and communicate findings to internal teams.

Qualifications

• PhD with 8+ years in industry/postdoc or equivalent experience.
• Deep experience operating MS and LC instrumentation is required.
• Experience with proteomics workflows and sample preparation desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the chemical biology lead on programs and present discovery evidence.
• Develop new proteomic workflows and evaluate MS strategies.
• Design and perform DIA/targeted proteomics experiments and interpret results.
• Maintain and tune Orbitrap/HPLC instrumentation and document results.
• Mentor junior scientists and collaborate with data science on pipelines.
