Job summary

Bruker Daltonics seeks an Application Scientist to analyze proteomics, glycoproteomics, and related projects. The role involves running customer demos, presenting data, and extensive travel to customer sites and internal R&D locations.

The candidate will develop and test methodologies for structural proteomics, coordinate measurements, and support sales with technical content, while staying current on Bruker software tools and product updates.

Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry or BS with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on LC-MS experience with complex mixtures.
• Experience with Bruker timsOmni and Bruker mass spectrometers preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for sales support.

Responsibilities

• Create and validate methods on timsOmni and transfer to Bruker demo labs.
• Coordinate sample measurements with customers and generate high-quality data and reports.
• Support commercial teams with advanced technical information on-site or via Teams.
• Travel to Bruker labs globally for training and pre-sales support.
