Job summary

MSD is seeking a ProteinXI sales leader to drive revenue across Academic and Government accounts within a defined territory. You will own territory strategy, build pipeline, and coordinate with Field Application Scientists and Inside Sales to ensure successful deal progression.

The role requires leadership in complex negotiations, clear articulation of ProteinXI differentiation, and a seamless pre- to post-sale handoff, with travel up to 60% and close collaboration with Sales Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in technical or hybrid sales within life sciences.
• Experience selling platforms or workflows involving NGS, multi-omics, proteomics preferred.
• Prior experience with Field Application Scientists and Inside Sales teams required.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver PXI revenue targets, including territory planning and pipeline generation.
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales activities with discovery scientists and procurement.
• Coordinate field resources and define engagement models for opportunities.
• Ensure seamless transition from pre-sales evaluation to post-sale onboarding and adoption.
