Job summary

MSD is seeking a Senior Field Application Scientist, Protein XI, to serve as a scientific expert for customers and internal teams. You will lead hands-on method development, deliver training materials, and mentor junior Field Applications staff.

You will collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Product Development, provide high‑level technical support, and help shape launch strategies, playbooks, and training standards across the field.

Qualifications

• PhD required in molecular biology, immunology, or related field.
• Master’s degree with equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years as a Field Application Scientist or scientific support role.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for customers using the proteomic platform.
• Conduct demonstrations, optimize workflows, and advise on experimental design.
• Mentor and train other Field Application Scientists; develop onboarding materials.
• Create customer-facing content and collaborate with Marketing for accuracy.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites and conferences.
