Stealth BioTech Startup in Boston, MA seeks a Protein Scientist for a full-time, on-site role focusing on hands-on production and purification of proteins. You will implement workflows, operate chromatography systems, and document results in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role emphasizes independent execution of expression, purification, QC, and data analysis with minimal supervision, driving project objectives and quality control milestones in a growing biotech setting.

Competenze

• Hands-on protein production and purification experience.
• Ability to operate FPLC systems independently.
• Strong lab organization and data analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Bio-Rad NGC chromatography systems.
• PhD with 0–2 years of relevant experience.

Mansioni

• Independently execute protein production and purification workflows to meet project requirements.
• Operate FPLC systems, including method setup, purification runs, fraction collection, and troubleshooting.
• Perform transformations, protein expression, and protein extraction.
• Prepare buffers and perform cell disruption using sonication and microfluidization.
• Perform protein electrophoresis, Western blotting, and other QC assays.
• Analyze results, maintain records, and communicate progress and issues.
