Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a highly motivated HPLC & Purification Associate Scientist to support a client team in synthetic molecule design and development in the Boston area. You will work with analytical chemists, organic chemists, and engineers to deliver product understanding across small molecules, peptides, and oligonucleotides.

The role offers opportunities across multiple disciplines, leveraging advanced HPLC, purification, MS, and automated platforms to drive R&D programs.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field with 1-2 years relevant industry experience; M.S. with 0-1 years.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform mobile phase preparation, column installation and weekly verification of Waters HPLC and tandem MS.
• Perform HPLC purity and potency analyses per SOPs.
• Purify using Cytiva Akta systems with Unicorn software per SOPs.
• Maintain safety and adhere to local policies.
• Support method development under guidance of senior analytical scientist.
• Set up and operate high-throughput liquid handler (Tecan Fluent) to screen conditions.
