Scorpion Therapeutics in Tarrytown, NY is seeking a Protein Reagents Scientist to advance therapeutic protein programs through purification and biochemical characterization of proteins and antibodies in a fast-paced, collaborative lab.

You will perform chromatography, characterize proteins, document data in Benchling, and communicate results to cross-functional teams; onsite work with a strong emphasis on detail and multitasking in a biotech setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years or Master's in biology, biochemistry, or related field.
• proficiency in protein characterization techniques
• strong foundation in protein chemistry
• excellent communication and documentation skills
• proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities

Responsabilités

• Perform affinity, ion-exchange, hydrophobic interaction, and size-exclusion chromatography.
• Characterize proteins via Western blot, SDS-PAGE, SEC, and spectrophotometry.
• Document and analyze data using Benchling.
• Communicate results effectively to cross-functional teams.
