You will supervise lab staff, ensure data quality, and communicate results to clients while fostering long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in cell biology, oncology, or related field with 6+ years lab experience OR
• Master’s degree with 10+ years in an academic core or industry

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of protein expression services to support translational research needs.
• Design and perform experiments independently, and accurately analyzes and presents data.
• Maintains a high-quality output and improves productivity metrics.
• Coordinates with management to develop project timelines and deliver on these timelines.
• Trains and mentors junior staff in cell culture and antibody staining techniques, data analysis, collation, and presentation.
• Assists in establishing and improving SOP documentation and related procedures.
• Troubleshoots and resolves scientific issues in projects.
• Ensure qualified equipment use and proper maintenance logs.
• Maintain safe lab practices and environment; collaborate with other teams.
• Monitor project-related expenses and write client reports as needed.
• Supervise project-related staff to ensure quality and execution.
• Other duties as assigned
