Farmers Insurance - Richard Rappa District is seeking an Agent In Training (Protege Agent) to help individuals and families identify suitable insurance solutions. You'll build customer relationships, learn sales processes, and work toward agency ownership within a Fortune 500 insurer.

Qualifications

• Previous sales, customer service, hospitality, or call center experience preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and satisfy carrier appointment requirements.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire for business ownership.

Responsibilities

• Contact prospective customers by phone, email, text, and other approved communication methods.
• Follow up consistently with leads and prospective customers.
• Asking thoughtful questions to understand each customer's needs.
• Preparing and presenting insurance quotes.
• Educating customers about available coverage options.
• Selling auto, home, renters, life, business, and other insurance products.
• Cross-selling additional products to new and existing customers.
• Building referral relationships within the community.
• Maintaining accurate records of customer conversations and sales activity.
• Meeting individual and agency sales, activity, and retention goals.
• Participating in sales training, coaching, role-playing, and team meetings.
