Full‑time position in the Protective Services Unit of the Elder Services Agency. Responsibilities include intake, investigation, service plans, and monitoring cases of elder abuse and neglect. This role requires home visits, knowledge of community resources, ability to work with families, case writing, record keeping, and word processing skills. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and availability for rotating on‑call duties are mandatory. An excellent benefits package is provided.
Full‑time, 35 hours per week.
Masters (or higher) in an accredited program in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, nursing, sociology, criminal justice, public health, public policy, or gerontology, plus at least one year of experience in counseling, casework, case management, preferably in Protective Services or crisis intervention; OR Bachelors in the same fields with at least two years of experience providing protective or crisis intervention services.
Must be able to climb multiple flights of stairs.
LSW preferred.
Travel reimbursement at $0.70 per mile.
Possible eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) if employed by a qualifying not‑for‑profit organization such as GSSSI.
