Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Protective Coatings Sales Representative to grow sales across the New England market, including New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. You will service existing accounts, develop growth opportunities, and manage territory plans with CRM to drive results.

Travel is daily within the territory; a high school diploma is required, a bachelor’s degree and NACE/AAMP certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of selling experience in a relevant field.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with protective coatings.
• CRM experience preferred; coatings experience is a plus.
• NACE/AAMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service existing customer accounts and identify growth opportunities within the sales territory.
• Facilitate product recommendations (application, performance, training, and color).
• Develop account planning strategies and growth opportunities; understand existing business and segments served.
• Utilize ClientLink CRM to manage accounts, call logs, and contact information; run reports.
• Analyze territory performance and develop sales territory business plans.
• Handle customer problems, complaints, and warranty issues to resolve promptly.
