What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage teams of engineers, designers, and drafters in designing high voltage protection and control systems
- Oversee the full lifecycle of projects from pre-proposal through construction to completion
- Prepare project Scope of Work (SOW) documentation and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Communicate project progress and issues with Business Development and client representatives
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager for high voltage substation projects
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Strong organizational skills and ability to create project workflows
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of project finance and controls principles
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Project Management Certification or other documented PM training
- Protection & Controls engineering design experience
- Professional Engineering License (PE) is strongly preferred
- Experience in project management for Power Transmission and Distribution assets
