Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a technically strong Technical Support Specialist (Protection & Control) to support Level 2 post-sales activities for grid automation products in the United States.

The role interfaces with Level 1 care, field service, and senior engineers (L3/L4). You’ll handle fault analysis, configuration, and commissioning inquiries and contribute to tools and processes across the North America team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in protection and control.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 post-sales technical support for protection and control products via phone, email, and other channels.
• Investigate issues, reproduce problems, and coordinate with Product Line teams to drive resolution.
• Collaborate with L3/L4 engineering teams for escalated investigations and documentation.
• Advise customers on upgrades and configurations of obsolete products.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and other QA tools; track RMA status.
• Prepare case summaries and metric reports for customers and internal reviews.
