Job summary

Schneider Electric in Omaha is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deploy Protection, Controls and Automation (PCA) systems at customer sites across industries including data centers, manufacturing, and healthcare. You will install, commission, troubleshoot, and train users on Schneider Electric and third-party equipment, read blueprints, and ensure safety compliance with local and corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electrical-related discipline.
• 2+ years field service or similar experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to read blueprints/schematics and understand power systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of PCA systems at customer sites across multiple industries.
• Install, upgrade, customize, and integrate PCA software.
• Start-up, commissioning and troubleshooting of relays, networking and SCADA.
• Provide customer training and document as-built systems.
• Travel regionally with occasional overnight travel up to 10% and some 2nd shift work.
