ECNS Global Consultants, PLLC is seeking a Protection & Control Engineer I–III to design, implement, test, and maintain protection and control systems for reliable power operation. You will work with relay protection, coordination studies, and power system analysis to develop robust solutions.

This full-time, remote-friendly role offers 5–30% travel, reports to the VP of Engineering, and a compensation range of $65,000 to $185,000 per year with supplemental pay for extra hours, plus a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Experience with protection and control systems for utility or industrial power systems.
• Knowledge of IEEE, IEC, ANSI, NESC standards and related practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay settings, coordination studies, fault analysis and power system studies.
• Develop, review and maintain calculations, drawings, reports and wiring settings files.
• Design, configure and test protective relays, SCADA, RTUs and communications networks.
• Support commissioning, startup, FAT/SAT and field implementation activities.
• Coordinate with project teams, operations, contractors, vendors and clients.
