ECNS Global Consultants, PLLC seeks a Protection & Control Engineer I–III to design, test, and maintain protection and control systems for electrical power networks. You will use relay protection expertise, coordination studies, and power system analysis to improve reliability and safety across complex infrastructure projects.

The role supports remote work options with 5–30% travel. A BS/MS in Electrical Engineering (ABET) is required, with PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Experience with protection and control systems for utility or industrial power systems.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
• PE license preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of IEEE, IEC, ANSI, NESC standards.

Responsabilités

• Perform and support protection and control engineering activities, including relay settings, coordination studies, fault analysis, and power system studies.
• Develop, review, and maintain engineering calculations, drawings, reports, relay settings files, and technical documentation.
• Design, configure, test, and troubleshoot protective relays, SCADA systems, RTUs, communications networks, and automation systems.
• Support or lead commissioning, startup, FAT, SAT, outage support, and field implementation activities.
• Coordinate with project teams, operations, contractors, vendors, and clients to deliver engineering solutions and project objectives.
• Protection & Control Engineer III: provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
